We present to you now a very simple yet gorgeous video tutorial for crocheting up these beautiful roses! Note that there is a free written pattern also available, but you will need to be a signed up member of Ravelry to have access to the written pattern. We have included below the complete video tutorial, for those of you who are not Ravelry members.
Most of the floral patterns that we have seen that work up into actual flowers have the petals normally attached with a hot-glue gun. We generally tend, for those patterns, to recommend sewing the petals on for a more permanent finished feeling. This pattern is different, as these are assembled with light-gauge thin wire, which also provides a more “permanent” feeling than does hot glue. The same wire that they are assembled with is also run throughout the separate petals so each petal can be bent, resulting in a more real appearing rose.
