Materials and tools needed include Size 10 crochet thread and a crochet hook.
Once you have gotten the basic pattern down, likely after doing just one of these, you should be able to create a variety of different sizes of the same snowflake. The basic method for crocheting this one is to do one of the “petals” on the snowflake, and then repeat each of the petals until you have 6 of them. You can make the petals as long or a short as you wish, resulting in a “flurry” of different sized snowflakes.
