So what parent of a baby wouldn’t love to have at least one pair of these adorable crocheted baby tennis shoes? We are sure that you have seen many patterns for different versions of crocheted baby shoes (we have, anyway), but the pattern for this particular baby shoe tugged at our hearts and we just had to post it! This pattern requires you to crochet “tightly” to get a stiffer end result.
There are instructions included for creating yarn soles or non-slip soles, as well as instruction on how to attach the laces so that baby won’t be able to pull them free. Also included is instruction for making a little “Converse” star to affix to the side of the shoe, should you so desire to make Converse shoes. Needed materials/tools include bright-colored sport-weight yarn, white worsted yarn, Fray Stop glue, a yarn needle, and black yarn if you will be crocheting the Converse shoes.
