Anyone who reads truly needs a bookmark to keep his or her books in top-notch shape, and what better way to do that than with this impressive, Victorian-like Fleur De Lys bookmark? For this pattern, although a Size 10 thread would probably turn out okay, you might want to consider getting your hands on some Size 30, which would make a more refined, thinner bookmark. Also recommended is a 0.75 mm hook. Although this project looks like it would go pretty quickly, it actually has a total of 37 rows and two rounds for the outside lace edging, so although this project won’t take forever, it likely won’t go as quickly as you would like either. We just absolutely love the look of this finished project! The link to the pattern is posted below. We did want to post below that a link to the image and tutorial source but were unable to locate the origin. The creator is Jacqui Cunningham, so we have posted our attribution link to her Facebook page, although it appears she has not posted anything there since 2014.
